The Miss Freedom Festival Pageant is sponsored by the Lowell Women's Club and co-sponsored by the Lowell Parks And Recreation Department and will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012. The pageant is open to any young lady from birth - 18 years of age. All contestants will compete in Beauty and Sportswear Competitions. Contestants will have the option to compete in Talent where the scores will count towards the overall title. There is a winner in each age division, an Overall Talent Award, Photogenic Award , Audience Vote Award, Lowell Women's Club Community Support Award and other optional categories for competition.

Age Divisions:
Baby Miss........0 years to 1 years
Tiny Miss.......... 2 years to 3 years
Little Miss......... 4 years to 6 years
Petite Miss...... 7 years to 9 years
Junior Miss.... 10 years to 12 years
Young Miss.... 13 years to 15 years
Teen Miss .......16 years to 18 years




Contestants must compete in the respective age group according to age as of May1st.

Required apparel: a party, pageant, prom or church dress for the Beauty Competition, an everyday casual outfit for the Sportswear Competition, Talent outfit (optional), and blue denim shorts, capris, skirt or jeans, a plain white tee shirt and white tennis shoes or sandals for the introduction line-up.

The contestant who receives the highest combined score in the Beauty, Sportswear and Talent Competitions will be named Miss Freedom Festival and will be presented at the Freedom Festival on May 19th. Miss Freedom Festival and her Royal Court will represent the Pageant in Lowell's Christmas Parade and make appearances at different City and Lowell Women's Club functions. In 2012, the overall winner will receive a cash prize of $500 at the completion of her reign and once all related responsibilities have been carried out.
All contestants will receive an award.
